Frequently Asked Questions

There are many different kinds of injectable dermal fillers on the market, including those from well-known pharma giants Galderma. They have many different brand names like Allergan, Botox, Dysport, and Juvaderm, to name a few. But all these different products are used in the same way. We inject units of the fillers under the skin on the face, neck, hands and other part of the body to restore beauty and make your face and body look young again.

As people get older, their bodies naturally stop making collagen and other substances that are necessary to keep skin plump and firm. Injectables are the perfect way to get that collagen back and lift your cheeks, plump your lips, and fill in areas of the face that have started to sag or fall. Other injectables can be used to relax the muscles in the face and neck to eliminate frown lines and other signs of aging.

Most injectables last between two to four months, meaning you will need additional treatments to maintain your look. But there are many discounted programs and incentives that you can use to save money on multiple sessions so that you won’t have to spend a fortune to look great. And since many insurance companies don’t cover elective cosmetic procedures, you would most likely have to personally pay for cosmetic enhancements that are done surgically.

Anyone who is concern about their appearance should think about dermal fillers or injectable anti-aging treatments. Because these treatments are safe and have very few side effects, there’s no reason not to have it.

In today’s social media-driven world there are benefits when you look young. You never know when you’re going to get tagged in photos on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter or when you might have to do a live stream video. And with the gig economy quickly becoming the most reliable way to earn a living, looking young and fresh gets you the most attention from future employers. You are your brand, and it will pay off to market your brand in the most effective way possible by keeping your appearance youthful and attractive.

That’s the most common question that people have about dermal fillers and injectables. And the answer is YES, they are effective.

More than 90% of people who have injectable treatments to fight aging are happy with their results. And most of those people continue to have injectable treatments for years after their initial treatments because of the results.

Injectable and dermal fillers have been tested and studied by the FDA and other governing agencies for years. And the results of their studies show that both initial and over time treatments are safe and effective for reversing the signs of aging and restoring beauty. So, if you are thinking about enhancing your appearance with injectable dermal fillers, there is no reason to wait. The best version of yourself is just a few injections away.

Most people don’t have any pain or discomfort from the injections. If you are worried about pain or discomfort during or after the procedure, we have topical numbing agent like lidocaine to make sure that you don’t feel any pain during the treatment. Lidocaine creams and sprays can be used after the injections if there is any soreness or pain as a result of the treatment. But in most cases within an hour of treatment, the patients feel totally fine and normal. You will begin to see the results of the treatment within 48 hours, And most injectables last between two to four months, although some injectable wrinkle fighters can last for years.

The Treatment

Treatment usually takes between 15 minutes to an hour. Before the injection is given we will map your face and carefully mark the areas where the injections will be placed. This step is crucial to making sure that your facial symmetry remains intact so during the first session we may spend extra time on this step to make sure we find the exact spot where each injection should be given. When you come back for subsequent sessions this part of the treatment won’t take as long.

Cleaning & Numbing

After the face mapping is done we will clean the area where the injection is going to be given with an antibacterial cleaner, and if you are worried about the pain, we will apply a topical numbing agent like a lidocaine cream. Once your face is numb, and you won’t feel the needle.

The Injection

The injection itself takes only a few moments. After the injection, we will assess the success of the injection and decide whether or not more filler is needed to get the look that you want. We may end up injecting more filler, or we may decide to wait until your next session to see if more filler is needed.

And we are done. After making sure that you’re comfortable and you don’t feel any pain, numbness or stinging sensations, you will be ready to go. We will give you complete aftercare instructions that may require you to be less active for a couple of days in order to give the treated area time to heal, but in general, you should be able to resume all your normal activities within a day or two.
